World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
Item upgrades allow players to raise the item level of weapons and armor that are equippable. This improves the stats and can also add buffs or rerolls to an attach.

Cost
The player must pay gold to upgrade an item. The cost of upgrading an item is contingent on its current level as well as the upgrade type chosen. For example upgrading a weapon is typically be cheaper than upgrading armor, since weapons require lower levels of skill. The amount of Gold required for upgrading increases as the item is upgraded to the next level.

The World of Warcraft item upgrade system lets players improve the quality of weapons, armor and trinkets. The process is similar to the process used for gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor however instead of using the appropriate currency, players must visit an item upgrader NPC to complete the process.
Item upgrades can be expensive, particularly when it concerns armor and weapons. Depending on the upgrade track, each step up in the level of an
item level upgrade can cost several Valorstones or crests. The cost can be prohibitive for those who don't have the money or are unwilling to grind.
Fortunately the game allows players to roll an upgraded item using a special tool in the items menu. This option lets you exchange the upgraded item for the level 1 version with a different set of bonus effects. This can be useful to improve the roll of items that are already upgraded. However, it can also be a waste.
Requirements

A player can reroll an upgraded item by using a Reroll Token to exchange the upgrade for a new one. The new item comes with distinct set of bonuses, and a lower level of the item. The rerolled item also has different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to know that the rerolled item won't be able to keep its original strength or have any of its wasted resources.
Certain upgraded items can only be rerolled if the initial item was Unique Epic, Rare or Rare. Extraordinary items can also be eligible for rerolling, but their original stats will be replaced by a flat bonus. Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will result in the normal version, and rerolling the Epic version will result in an elite version.
Upgraded items can come with additional modifiers that can improve their performance and increase their stats. These additional modifiers are not included in the upgrade cost. They can be obtained through the questing process, purchasing them from the Trading Post or from other players. They can also be earned by completing specific tasks in the game.
To upgrade an item of equipment, you need to visit the NPC [Armorto upgrade a piece of equipment, visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Based on the type of item, you will need one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is droppable from monsters 21+ and Giants while Dice 12 is droppable from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.

upgrade items by crafting, purchasing from vendors or the Trading Post, looting, or as a reward. Players can also recover upgraded items by using an Upgrade extractor, or salvage using a salvage of a higher tier kit. Glyphs that are placed on tools for gathering are able to be swapped.
By selecting the item and pressing the green button that has an arrow that rerolls players can reroll it to create an upgradeable item. This will change the layout of the game and let players select up to six items for "recycling". The item that is recycled will be exchanged for an item of level 1 similar to it.
